    Current MSK Physiotherapy Provision

    Due to Covid-19 MSK physiotherapy is mainly being delivered by telephone consultations for assessment and advice. Near Me is also being used for video appointment consultations. For patients needing to be seen face to face there remains very limited capacity and moving forward MSK will have less capacity for face to face consultations due to the impact of social distancing. The waiting list is slowly being addressed with virtual consultations. Please note, MATS help line for patients to self-refer is stil closed.     Dumfries House - Chronic Pain Programme

    Our programme is an online programme which is run through Zoom from 1.30pm till 3.30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Each week the group helps you find out more about chronic pain, learn how to manage your condition, and learn by pacing yourself you can gain some control of your condition and helps you feel better. The programme also shows how using complementary therapies such as mindfulness and acupressure can help deal with anxieties and stress.

    Coronavirus (COVID-19) Community Clinical Hub

    Coronavirus (COVID-19) Community Clinical Hub If you think you, or someone you care for, may have Coronavirus (COVID-19) related symptoms and you need to speak to someone, you should now call NHS 24 (111). NHS 24 are now the first point of contact, please do not contact your local GP. NHS 24 will assess your call and offer suitable self-care advice if appropriate. If it is felt you require to speak to a clinician, you will be referred to your local community clinical hub for a clinical assessment by telephone. The community clinical hub is staffed with clinicians and professionals from across Ayrshire and Arran who will provide specialised COVID-19 advice. If you need to be seen, the community clinical hub will liaise with your General Practice for follow up treatment. The local community clinical hub provides a dedicated COVID-19 service supporting the people in our communities.
